To all my peeps who know me, you know that I am far from perfect. Here’s a little something that I learned today as well as some already known principles that God chose to remind me of.
Returning
It’s interesting to me that as much as I love my island, St Maarten, God needed to re-locate me a few thousand miles into the middle of where I have nothing else to lean on other than Him. I feel like what God said to Abram in Genesis 12:1-2 (paraphrased) Leave your country, leave your people and leave the security of your father’s house, go to the land I will show you…..and I will bless you (not your brains, not your skills, not your social network, it’s GOD who will bless you).
For those of you, who like me had lost their way, know that God does not change. That means He hasn’t replaced you with the newer model yet and He has no plans to either. Trust me when I tell you from personal experience, that God is right there waiting for you, with His plan for your life in-tact and ready to implement. Here are some simple steps I pray will help you find your way back. These steps sure helped me.
Step # 1 : Malachi 1:7
Make your lifestyle and offering to God pure : return to worship
Step # 2 : Malachi 2:1-2 and 7-9
Keep your relationship with your wife pure : return to family
Step # 3 : Malachi 3:10
Test God by proper tithing : return to Godly financial management
By the way, this is the ONLY place in the Bible where God challenges you to test Him.
RESULT : Malachi 3:7
Return to God, He will return to me.
IN BUSINESS
For the business minded or entrepreneurs reading, here are two principles that ALWAYS work (like gravity) whether you believe in them or not.

Establish (found) the business on understanding (thoroughly trained and mastered ability)
Build the business on skillful and Godly wisdom (proper principles)
Fill every room of the business by using knowledge (proper accounting systems)
